JC spent 30 years in the IT industry. Wanting to do something completely different, he purchased House of Window Coverings in 2019. He needed to continue to help customers in a very personal way, as he did in his previous life in IT. JC wanted to help people make their house a home by learning a new industry and creating relationships with new colleagues and customers. “I knew going in there would be a lot to learn. But because we have such a great team of professionals on our staff, the transition has been wonderfully fun”, JC has said. Ramiro joined the House of Window Coverings team in 2009 and holds the position of Operations Manager. For over 10 years he has helped build the House of Window Coverings brand to help it become what it is today. Ramiro has an extensive background in customer service and office operations. Prior to joining the House of Window Covering’s team Ramiro worked for a major telecommunications company for many years where he quickly moved up in the company, holding many different positions. Ramiro started off as a customer service representative, soon after that he was quickly promoted to a supervisor position. He then attained the store manager position shortly thereafter.
Ramiro was born in Los Angeles, California and has lived in Las Vegas since 1985. He enjoys going to the movies, reading, and spending time at home with his significant other and their three Chihuahuas.

Karen joined House of Window Coverings in 2007, and holds a position as a Senior Design and Showroom Consultant. She has been awarded Top Sales Achiever at House of Window Coverings for a total of 7 times during her time with House of Window Coverings. Karen’s expertise was so sought after, that she was asked to work with Customer Decorators through the Costcto network from 2005 to 2009.
Karen has always had a passion for interior design. Karen ran her own curtain business named Karen’s Kustom Kurtains from 1985 to 1995 in Palmdale, Califiornia. During the time she owned her own business, her duties included sewing, designed, and installing, all while raising her 3 children. Karen was recruited in 1999 as an Operations Manager for Bassett Furniture. Bassett Furniture moved Karen from her home in California to Las Vegas. During her 3 years with Bassett she was responsible for opening 2 new stores while running Bassett’s warehouse. After leaving Bassett Furniture Karen accepted the position as the Window and Paint Manger for the The Great Indoors. At the closing of The Great Indoors Karen worked for a well-known window covering company in Las Vegas from 2003-2007.
Karen was born and raised in Southern California and moved to Las Vegas in 1999. She resides in Las Vegas with her three children and her 4 grandchildren with one on the way!

Cori joined the House of Window Coverings team in early 2015 and works as a showroom consultant and designer. Cori has always had a passion for interior design; in her college years she completed many interior design courses. Cori’s passion is not limited to interior design; she also enjoys creating and crafting. Cori loves to quilt and has won ribbons; she has been recognized at various fairs across the country. Cori loves the creative aspect of quilting; she says “I love choosing fabrics and colors and putting them all together with the patterns”.Prior to working at House of Window Covering’s Cori worked as a Licensed Aesthetician at the JW Marriot in Summerlin for over a decade. After her time at JW Marriot, Cori went on to work for Hilton Grand Vacation Club in their spa as a Licensed Aesthetician. Cori wanted to go back to her creative and interior design roots, that motivation is what brought her to the House of Window Coverings team.
Cori grew up in the suburbs of Los Angeles, in California. She moved to Las Vegas in the spring of 2005 from Idaho. Cori’s educational background includes Business College and an Aesthetician’s License.
Besides Cori’s love for interior design and customer service, Cori continues to maintain her status as a doTERRA consultant since 2012 and has taught classes on health, nutrition and essential oils.

Lana’s passion for art and design has spanned over decades. As a young student Lana worked in visual display for a Chicago based department store chain. Lana continued her education by completing cosmetology school. She did platform work, training and managed salons for I.Magnin and Lord & Taylor for 18 years. After completing her time in the beauty industry Lana was looking for change and sought a career in home and window design. She went on to work for a high- end furniture gallery as a Design Consultant. This is where Lana immersed herself with window coverings; wallpaper, as well as furniture choices and placement. Lana then went on to take a position as an Interior Designer for State Street Interiors, a well-established Design Firm in Bettendorf, Iowa. Lana is a trusted design professional, which has built long-term client relationships that have brought her repeat business and excellent referrals. She strives to instill confidence in every step of any project, big or small. Lana listens carefully to her clients, so the end result is a strong line of communication that fosters a strong relationship between designer and client.
Lana was born and raised in Chicago. She majored in Art at the Chicago Art Institute where she studied courses in art medium, home design, blueprint concepts and textile. Lana has 6 adult children, and many grandchildren. Two of her daughters live on the West Coast, the others in the Midwest and southern shores. Lana decided to make the move to Las Vegas because the area has such a great flight hub and her family finally convinced her that Las Vegas should be her new home. Lana enjoys time with her companion Scott who is a talented contractor. In their past time Lana and Scott enjoy visits from their families and friends. They also enjoy exploring the state parks, and many other activities and sites which Las Vegas has to offer.

Alina joined House of Window Coverings in 2008. She holds a position as Design and Showroom Consultant.
Alina started her career with Countrywide Home Loans where she worked as a Loan Officer and a Financial Analyst in the IT Department for 11 years. Once she moved to Las Vegas in 2007 she saw it as opportunity to change careers and do something that allowed her to be more creative. Which brought her to House of Window Coverings. Alina has a passion for design and a strong eye for color. She highly enjoys helping clients pick window treatments that coordinate with their decor and help to complete the overlook of their homes. Alina is very outgoing and often makes strong personal connections with her clients that last a lifetime. Alina believes that a referral is the best compliment she can receive from her customers.
Alina was born in Europe. She moved to the states in 1984. Her family landed in the suburbs of Los Angeles, CA and resided there until she moved to Las Vegas with her own family. Alina now resides in Las Vegas with her husband Scott and their two sons Jordan & Jager. Alina enjoys spending time with her family and her rescue dog Marley. She also enjoys reading and watching movies in her pastime.

James began his career in the window coverings business in Maryland. He had a good friend that mentored James and taught him all he knew about the window covering’s business. His mentor had been in the business for 50 plus years and taught James every phase of the business from sales to installation. James has owned his own business in Bowie, Maryland and in Las Vegas. He now works with House of Window Coverings specializing in commercial and residential projects. James enjoys working with the owner JC and the fantastic staff; he says, “It is a privilege to work at House of Window Coverings.”
James was born in Pennsylvania and has lived in Las Vegas for 40 years. He has a bachelor’s degree from UNLV and 20 years of window covering experience. He enjoys spending his free time with his wife and family.

Franky joined House of Window Coverings in September of 2019 as a Lead Installer, and soon transitioned into Design Consultant and has most recently moved into a warehouse manager position. He has over 6 years comprehensive experience in sales and installation of both interior and exterior shade decorations. His many years as a casino host and marketing coordinator for Station Casinos has helped him adapt and exceed in customer service and sales. Franky brings expert knowledge with a warm welcoming and helpful understanding of product design and function. Franky is a Las Vegas native with a bachelor’s degree in hotel administration, with a minor in Food & Beverage from the University of Nevada Las Vegas. He enjoys movies, biking, fishing, and is an animal enthusiast.
